                 ArgentVive plc ("ArgentVive" or the "Company")

                         
The Company announces that Mr. David Mahony and Mr. Andrew Wells, both Directors of the Company and Mr. Martin Hearn, a director of Midas Merchant Ltd a subsidiary of the Company, have exercised share options in respect of 400,000, 250,000 and 300,000 ArgentVive ordinary shares respectively (the "Options"). The Options were all exercised at a price of 10p per share. The Options were granted under the Unapproved Share Option Scheme (the "Scheme") in two tranches in 2000 and 2004.

The Company was subject to an offer by IAF Securities Limited on behalf of Mr Charles Denton that was made on 30 April 2007 (the "Offer"). Under the terms of the Scheme, in the event of an offer for the class of shares to which the options relate the option holders are required to exercise their options within six months the date on which any such offer is declared wholly unconditional otherwise they shall lapse. The Offer was declared unconditional on 7 June 2007.

Following the exercise of the Options, Mr. Mahony's holding in the Company is now 400,000 ordinary shares representing 1.41 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company, Mr. Wells' holding in the Company is now 250,0000 ordinary shares representing 0.88 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company. Mr. Hearn's holdings in the Company is now 314,200 ordinary shares representing 1.10 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.

Application has been made for the 950,000 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that admission to trading on AIM will take place on 13 December 2007.
The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company. Following this allotment, the total issued share capital of the Company will increase to 28,566,016 ordinary shares.
