Statement re Share Price Movement

The Board of samedaybooks has noted the movement in its share price and announces that it has entered into preliminary negotiations to acquire Auction Assist Limited (“Auction Assist”), a company providing internet auction services.

Charles Denton, Deputy Chairman of samedaybooks, currently holds 15 per cent. of the issued share capital of Auction Assist.

The Board announces that it is in discussions to acquire an on-line book retailing business, which the Board believes will complement samedaybooks’ existing activities and provide a platform for future growth.

The Company will make a further announcement once details of these proposed transactions have been finalised.
