Offer Talks Terminated and Trading Update

The Company announced on 29 February 2008 that Charles Denton, ArgentVive's Deputy Chairman, was exploring the possibility of making an offer for the entire issued share capital of the Company.

Charles Denton has informed the board that it is no longer his intention to proceed to make an offer. Charles Denton remains the Company's largest shareholder with a 41.4% holding.

Solcara, acquired on 21 December 2007, and Waterside Books, are both trading in line with management expectations. However, the Company's other activities are currently trading below budget.

In light of challenging trading conditions, the Board is considering various options and alternatives for the Group.
